你有没有努力去当后一个人?这个世界上到处都是半途而废的人,你能坚持到后吗?
  
  近在看柴静的电视专题节目《看见》,她还是那么瘦弱沉静,闪动着平和却让人不能拒绝的目光,用她一贯的执著注视着这个时代,这个社会。从一个北漂姑娘一步步走来,这么多年,她一直在变,又一直未变。
  
  柴静刚到央视主持《东方时空·时空连线》时,没有名校的学历背景,又不是新闻专业出身,那时的她度过了一段痛苦的适应期。柴静说自己从蹲马步开始学起基本功,流汗流血、风吹日晒。她曾经采用笨拙的办法,像蚂蚁一点一点地搬运食物一样,竭尽全力地去学习。
  
  自己做策划,观摩同行的节目,上机编节目,熬夜到凌晨三四点。即使得了金奖,她也没有摆脱沮丧和不安。柴静当时的遗憾是自己没有在当过记者,缺乏在新闻岗位打磨的历练,支撑她的,是性格里坚毅的那部分,既已选择,就不曾放弃。
  
  这我想起我的一位朋友C君,圈子内有名的广告人,而十年前,他不是。那时他还是一个会计专业的毕业生,求职大军里靠一份细心赢得了一家广告公司的会计职位。那家广告公司刚刚起步,没有大客户,也没有多少资源,自然账务往来也少,C君的工作很清闲。

  C君是个很勤勉的人,有一次晚上十点多我有事去找他,他正在家里仔细阅读一部砖头厚的《广告案例500篇》。那时,因为几次成功的广告策划,他已经在圈子里声名鹊起了。谈完事后与他闲聊,我问起他的职业体验,他说做广告其实不像表面看上去那么有趣,真正有趣的部分可能连20%都占不到;你为一个创意修改了十几次,客户后说还是次的方案比较好。
  
  我反问他,既然如此,有没有想过再转行回去?要知道现在一个注册会计师的职业价值不可估量。他给了我一个至今难忘的回答——这个世界上到处都是半途而废的人,这个世界上到处都是自认豁达的人,而豁达有时候不过是“放弃”的代名词。
  
  是的,很多时候我们常常会因为逃避问题而选择另一份工作,跳槽到一个新公司,或者新行业。现在的管理者们相信“铁打的营盘流水的兵”,而员工们则觉得“此处不留爷,自有留爷处。”跳槽早已不是一个年底的季候现象,渐渐成了职场中的常态。跳槽者总有理由。诸如严苛,同事刁蛮,收入低,压力大。甚或者,只是厌倦了瓶颈期的漫长。
  
  但很多人都没有意识到,重新选择并不一定意味着重新出发,有些问题当下没有解决,换了一份工作,也许还会遇到类似的问题,而自己却没有学会应对之策。每个公司各有各的不同,也各有各的相似之处,问题、矛盾、彷徨等等总会不断出现,不变的是,人场,就必须面对种种问题。
  
  放弃比坚持容易得多,放弃能轻易找到100个理由,让自己原谅自己,甚至可以说,我放弃了这个,是因为它不符合我的理想,我要去追求我的梦想。但坚持下去,面对的却是不知未来的漫漫长夜,是自我的挣扎与痛苦。
  
  但也只有坚持下去的人,才真正获得了守得云开见月明之后的成长和成就感。我的朋友C君,如今自己开了一个工作室,原公司的老板既感念他多年的效力,又器重他的能力,把公司里大部分业务的创意策划工作交给了他做。
  
  每个人都想当。但是通常做后一个却更好:后一个放弃的人,后一个离开的人,后一个还在坚持努力的人,后一个坚持原则和价值观的人。
